Cone Detection Software

A software package for identifying cone photoreceptors in non-confocal adaptive optics images such as split detection. This software was primarily developed by Jianfei Liu, Andrei Volkov, and Johnny Tam, with research support from the Intramural Research Program of the National Institutes of Health, National Eye Institute. Research funded by the National Eye Institute has identified the signaling mechanism that triggers steroid-induced glaucoma by creating a 3D “eye-on-a-chip” platform that mimics the flow of ocular fluids.
